Established in 2006 in Mathare, LEPTA is dedicated to unleashing the potential of young people, helping them overcome limitations and achieve their aspirations. Our approach addresses both external barriers and internal challenges to foster holistic growth.

Children and youth in underserved communities face systemic barriers rooted in poverty, such as limited access to personal and leadership development, employability skills training, and entrepreneurial support. These challenges are compounded by internal struggles such as trauma, self-doubt and lack of purpose, leading to high unemployment, untapped potential, and restricted community transformation.

in the past 18 years, we’ve empowered over 2,000 individuals through leadership training, mentorship, and access to vital resources. LEPTA is building a community of business and social impact leaders committed to their personal growth, economic empowerment, and societal transformation, fostering social empowerment through initiatives that lead to community-driven development.
